Live Threat Intel Stats

What ScanTotal is actually catching, in the past 30 days.

How this is measured. Numbers are counted from real scans run through ScanTotal during the past 30 rolling days. Aggregated only, no IP addresses, file contents, URLs, or other identifiers leave our database. Refreshes hourly. These totals count only visitors who accepted analytics on our consent banner, so real activity is higher than the figures below. We would rather under-report than record a scan from someone who asked us not to. They also cover only the checks that reach our server, which means URL scans and file hash lookups. The SMS, email and QR tools analyse in your browser and never send us the message, so nothing about them can appear here unless they look up a link they found.

What the detection rate means. Most scans return no known indicator, which is the expected outcome. Note the wording: that is not the same as proving the submission was harmless. Our checks are specific, and something brand new or targeted can pass them. A low single-digit detection rate means threats are being found in the small fraction of submissions that carry ones we can recognise. Much higher would suggest a noisy false-positive rate; much lower would suggest under-detection.

Industry test signatures (EICAR, AMTSO) are excluded from threat counts so the numbers reflect real-world threats, not testing activity. ScanTotal launched March 2026, so totals continue to grow as more people scan.
