Service Description

ScanTotal is a free security scanning service that checks files, URLs, and other indicators against threat intelligence databases. The service is provided "as is" without warranties.

Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Use the service only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to overwhelm or abuse the service
• Not use automated tools to scrape or abuse the service
• Not upload files you do not have the right to scan

Limitations

• ScanTotal is not a replacement for antivirus software
• A "safe" result does not guarantee a file is completely safe
• We are not responsible for any damages from using or relying on our service
• Results are based on third-party threat databases which may not be complete

Rate Limiting

To ensure fair access, we may limit the number of requests per user. Excessive use may result in temporary blocking.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
